Let's MoveOn! #2
MoveOn Pro-Wrestling is a small independent company based in Osaka, Japan under the guidance of ring announcer Naoki. They started in 2020 but due to the corona virus it took two years until the very first show. "Let's MoveOn!" is my first promotion based series here on KENKA where I review their shows and hopefully I can spread the word of MoveOn to non japanese people.
It's Mat Pro Wrestling time for us and MoveOn. Since they did not upload any of the "real" shows on YouTube or somewhere else, we'll find out how they act on pillows and mats. The second part of "Let's MoveOn!" will have three shows with two matches on each show.

KATSUMI ORIBE DEF. HIROAKI TANIGUCHI (7:43)
This is someones birthday party and I can't think of a cooler birthday gift then having a private wrestling show in a small room. They started with some lock ups and teased to go into the guests several times. Unfortunately the camera was stationed so we missed some parts of the match due to the "crowd brawling" of these two maniacs. Oribe even hit a suplex in this very small room, hit Taniguchi with an enzuigiri for two and then going for the spot of the match. The host of the house opened the shutter of a door, Oribe ran outside on the street and nearly finished Taniguchi with a penalty kick. Just a brief moment later a kick to the face was too much for Taniguchi. **
KAZUAKI MIHARA DEF. YUTO KIKUCHI (13:26)
The match started with some arm twisting which lead to a palm strike exchange and some heavy punches from both competitor. Kikuchi showed some aethletism with a counter and a huge dropkick which took Mihara down. He followed by a foot stomp and the birthday guests were into it. Kikuchi is good involving crowds, he's a funny guy without being a dork. Mihara came back with raw power, unfortunately we couldn't see some parts like in the first match. Kikuchi was a highlight reel here, doing a standing moonsault and even jumping of the stairs. Mihara tried to do the same spot as Oribe when he ran outside, but Kikuchi dodged it and did it by himself and kicked Mihara brutally to the chin. A foot stomp was only for two, Kikuchi went upstairs again but Mihara catched him and wanted to powerbomb him but "Red Eagle" countered and smashed Mihara into the wall. Mihara stopped Kikuchi with a brutal lariat and won the match. ***

KATSUMI ORIBE DEF. OSAMU SUGANUMA (9:28)
This time we're in a bar, I mean it looks like an actual bar. The size of the mat is as small as it was in the previous show, so those two guys are starting with some headlocks and the standard "I throw you in the crowd, no I will not do it" move. Suganuma looked very slow and tarnished out there, doing some Mongolian Chops and slow looking chops to Oribe. The crowd was having a laugh when Katsumi Oribe channeled his inner Luke Littler and tried to throw some darts into Suganuma's chest, without any success. Oribe did more for the match and showed an Enzuigiri and a Penalty Kick and rightfully won the match after a series of kicks to the old man's face. **
KAZUAKI MIHARA DEF. HIROAKI TANIGUCHI (8:58)
The match started with some lock ups until both men decided to smash each others bodies into one another and I loved it. A way cooler start to the match than the previous one. Unfortunately, Mihara decided to go into the small crowd and the camera did not follow the competitors, so we couldn't see much. Mihara and Taniguchi had a chop duel behind the bar and went back to the small mat to intensify their exchange with chops and forearms. I love Taniguchi's energy to every match he's in, he and Mihara had a good chemistry. In the crunchtime they had another great looking forearm battle, where Mihara had the upper hand with a Lariat for the three count. *** 1/4

TORU DEF. HIROAKI TANIGUCHI (10:00)
Okay this is awesome, we're at a Dance School now and we even got more space than in the previous two shows. Kids are crying right before the start of the match and I hope this isn't a bad sign. They began the match with a test of strength with some spices in it. It got more interesting when they started a chop/palm strike battle, TORU needed to break the rules by doing an eye poke to stop Taniguchi's momentum and he even used a chair. Naughty boy! While TORU was arguing with referee Kazuaki Mihara about how to count, Taniguchi did a sneak attack on TORU but he wasn't able to put TORU down for three straight seconds. Taniguchi landed a Sliding D on TORU, but the latter kicked him in the crown jewels and put him down for the three. *** 1/4
KAZUAKI MIHARA DEF. TETSUYA GOTO (9:22)
These two started the match with a lock up and straight fled from the camera into the fans. They went back on the mat and Goto showed that he is faster than the more powerful Mihara, however the latter got him and punished him right away. Goto did not backed down from the fight and you could hear the chops .. but you couldn't see them, as they went back behind the camera. I know they have just one camera for shows like this one, but this is not good folks. Mihara destroyed Goto with chops and slammed in on the mat on multiple occassions. Goto showed heart and even came back with two good looking dropkicks, rolling thunder and a spinning wheel kick, but only for two. When he tried to get Mihara up, he wasn't successful and initiated his ending. Mihara choked him out and won the match. ** 3/4
I sincerely apologize for my lack of activity in recent times. However, given that I've got a full-time job and a family, I think that's pretty normal, right? This episode of "Let's MoveOn!" wasn't that exciting, but the next one will be more when we watch the 3rd big show of MoveOn at Azalea Taisho. Stay tuned...the next six months lol
