Let's MoveOn! #1
MoveOn Pro-Wrestling is a small independent company based in Osaka, Japan under the guidance of ring announcer Naoki. They started in 2020 but due to the corona virus it took two years until the very first show. "Let's MoveOn!" is my first promotion based series here on KENKA where I review their shows and hopefully I can spread the word of MoveOn to non japanese people.
This show is their Pre-Launch Show in front of no fans at Azalea Taisho, which is a pretty sweet looking venue. The participants are very diverse here from various promotions but still their only two contracted guys, Katsumi Oribe & Kazuaki Mihara, are headlining the show. Let's MoveOn people!

HIBISCUS MII & SHACHIHOKO BOY DEF. RYUYA MATSUFUSA & TSUBASA (13:42)
This is some diverse match: We have Hibiscus Mii from Ryukyu Dragon Pro based in Okinawa, Shachihoko BOY from Dragongate, Ryuya Matsufusa from Dotonbori Pro based in Osaka and of course TSUBASA from Osaka Pro Wrestling. Matsufusa and Shachihoko BOY started the match with some slower lock-ups, things went up faster when Hibiscus Mii and TSUBASA came to action. This was a pretty standard tag team match with the expection when TSUBASA tortured Hibiscus Mii, which were the most fun parts of the match. Shachihoko BOY pinned Ryuya Matsufusa after a cool looking roll-up to get the win. **1/4
OSAMU SUGANUMA DEF. PUNCH TOMINAGA (11:55)
It's Osaka Pro versus Dragongate all over again when two veterans collide with each other. These two started with some holds and grappling followed by some cool looking shoulder block exchange and strikes. To be honest this was immediatly more fun for me and more my type of wrestling, especially when grumpy Suganuma washed Punch's face with his boots and asked for more. Suganuma and Tominaga hit each other with nasty palm strikes to the chest for several minutes, which was awesome to see. Tominaga's chest looked like a mess! He missed a moonsault from the top rope, that's when Suganuma tried to kill him with a cutter and a suplex for two. Suganuma pinned Punch after a lariat in a very decent match. *** 1/4
KATSUMI ORIBE DEF. HIROAKI TANIGUCHI (11:12)
The first MoveOn contracted guy is lacing his boots, here against Shi-En man Hiroaki Taniguchi. They start with pretty basic action until Taniguchi wants more of Oribe and he got it with some brutal kicks to the chest and back. Taniguchi broke Oribe's momentum with a backbody drop and began to start a chop battle with his opponent. The man from Shi-En wasn't afraid of bending the rules, attacking Oribe when he was between the ropes or standing on him on several occassions. Oribe came back with his typical karate type kicks and finished the fight with a right kick to the face. ***
KAZUAKI MIHARA VS. TAKUMI TSUKAMOTO - TIME LIMIT DRAW (20:00)
BASARA versus MoveOn started with a handshake between the designated ace Kazuaki Mihara and BASARA's Union Pro MAX Champion Takumi Tsukamoto. It was a kind of slow start, they showed respect for each other and waited for an opening hole to get through. The fight went to the ground where it went back and forth who's got the upperhand, Mihara showed that he can handle a grappling fight with an opponent, who worked matches like that in his past. Althought the further they went into it, Tsukamoto clearly was the better man on the mat. Mihara beasted his way back with raw power and straight went for Tsukamoto's neck on the ground.
Mihara tried to jump from the turnbuckle, but Tsukamoto got up on his feet and the two fought on the top rope until the former Big Japan man brought Mihara down. I loved the foream strike exchange between them, where both men were dropped down to their feet multiple times. During the finishing sequence both men tried to submit their respective opponent, but it wasn't meant to be. They hit each other with palm strikes, strikes to the head and more but the time was slowly running out. Time Limit Draw! *** 1/2
This was a pretty solid Pre-Launch show for MoveOn I think with fans at Azalea Taisho the show would have been even better but nevertheless it was a solid outing for them! They did a good job of solidifying their guys, buildung up to their next (first real) show but unfortunately we can't see this show. They did not release a VOD, PPV or something like this so the second version of Let's MoveOn! will be the start of MoveOn's mat pro wrestling shows.
